If you have been waiting to jump back into the world of Amane and Mahiru, we have some fantastic news for you. The super wholesome rom-com The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten is finally getting the English dub treatment, and you won’t have to wait long to binge the whole thing. Starting Wednesday, July 15, all 12 episodes of this sweet series will be ready to stream over on Crunchyroll.

For those who need a refresher on the plot, the story kicks off with a simple umbrella. Amane is a bit of a slob, and Mahiru is the literal "angel" of their school. After he helps her out during a rainy day, Mahiru decides to return the favor by tidying up his apartment and cooking him meals. It is a slow-burn, sugary-sweet dynamic that is honestly the perfect comfort watch.

Meet the English Cast

Crunchyroll has tapped some great talent to bring these characters to life in English. Leading the show as the somewhat messy Amane is Ryan Negrón, while the radiant Mahiru is played by Jill Harris. The rest of the supporting cast includes Skyler McIntosh as Chitose, Matthew Elkins as Itsuki, and Katelyn Barr as Sayo. You’ll also hear voices from Michele Knotz, Robert McCollum, Gillian Lange, Tom Henry, and Ethan Connor Marshall.

Of course, a massive production like this takes a village. The dub was produced in-house at Crunchyroll Studios, with Jonathan Rigg stepping in as the Voice Director. With Chris Cason handling the adaptation and a huge list of additional talent—ranging from Danielle Yoshiko Phillips to Seth Jones—it’s clear they put a ton of effort into making this localization feel right at home.

A Solid Foundation

While the new dub is the star of the show right now, let’s not forget the team that made the original anime such a hit. The first season was directed by Lihua Wang at studio project No.9, with Keiichiro Ochi handling series composition. With character designs by Takayuki Noguchi and a beautiful soundtrack from Moe Hyuga, the foundation of this show is top-tier.
