Tetsuryo! brings the Tetsudou Musume girls to life this October with a fresh trailer and key visual

All Aboard! Get Ready for the Tetsuryo! meet with Tetsudou Musume Anime This October

Pack your bags and check your schedules, train fans! The long-awaited anime adaptation Tetsuryo! meet with Tetsudou Musume has finally locked in an October 2026 release date. To celebrate the announcement, the production team dropped a fresh trailer and a stunning new visual that puts the massive cast front and center.

This project is serving as the centerpiece for the 20th-anniversary celebration of Takara Tomy’s beloved Tetsudou Musume (Railway Girls) franchise. The show follows four energetic university students who make up the "Tetsuryo" Train Travel Club. As they crisscross Japan by rail, they have the chance to meet the inspiring women working behind the scenes in the railway industry—the titular Railway Girls.

A Stacked Voice Cast

The core group of students is voiced by a powerhouse lineup: May Tachibana plays Misaki Sada, Mao Shoji is Kodama Orihara, Haruna Fukushima voices Ushio Yagami, and Hika Tsukishiro takes on the role of Usa Harutachi. They are joined by Fuka Izumi as Yayoi Nakano and Yukari Anzai as Arisa Nishiura.

If that wasn't enough talent, the show is packing its roster with some of the biggest names in the industry. The supporting cast is absolutely loaded, featuring heavy hitters like Asami Seto, Ayaka Ohashi, Yurika Kubo, Misaki Kuno, and Kana Ichinose, among many others. To top it all off, the main quartet will perform the ending theme song, "Watashi Miraisen," under the unit name Tetsuryo-kai.

The Talent Behind the Rails

Behind the camera, the production is in some very capable hands. Misuzu Hoshino, who directed Hokkaido Gals Are Super Adorable!, is helming this project at EAST FISH STUDIO. The scripts are being handled by Aya Satsuki, known for Solo Camping for Two, while the character designs are being brought to life by Naofumi Hashimoto, who recently worked on Laid-Back Camp season 3. With that kind of pedigree, we can likely expect a cozy, well-crafted series that captures the beauty of traveling across Japan.

Keep your eyes peeled on the official social channels for more updates as we inch closer to October. Whether you’re a train enthusiast or just in it for the character-driven slice-of-life goodness, this is definitely one to add to your watchlist.
