If you’ve been keeping up with the chaos on Crunchyroll, you know exactly the kind of unhinged, alcohol-fueled shenanigans we’re in for this time around.

To celebrate the return of Iori Kitahara and his dysfunctional "friends," the team behind the show just dropped the creditless opening and ending sequences on YouTube. They’re everything you’d expect: colorful, chaotic, and perfectly in sync with the show’s brand of absolute madness.

The opening sequence features a really cool mixed-media style paired with the track "Natsuko" by FUNKY MONKEY BΛBY'S. It captures that quintessential, slightly sweaty, and entirely frantic summer vibe that only these characters could pull off. Who’s Steering the Ship?

Behind the scenes, we’ve got the legendary Shinji Takamatsu calling the shots again. You might know him from his work on Haven't You Heard? I'm Sakamoto, which explains why the comedic timing in Grand Blue feels so sharp. The production is once again a collaboration between Zero-G and Saber Works, keeping that familiar look that fans have loved since the first season back in 2018.

If you’re new to the madness or just need a refresher, the story follows Iori as he moves to Izu for college. He’s dreaming of a relaxing life at his uncle's diving shop, but reality hits him like a brick. Instead of peaceful ocean views, he ends up in a living nightmare of drinking games, hazing rituals, and constant buffoonery. It’s easily one of the most hilariously unhinged college experiences in anime history.
