The official website just dropped a third teaser visual for the upcoming sequel, The Prince of Tennis II U-17 WORLD CUP SEMIFINAL: Kessho Member Ketteisen (Final Member Selection Match). The latest visual is a real tear-jerker for long-time Hyotei fans. It highlights a showdown between teammates Keigo Atobe and Yushi Oshitari as they battle it out for a spot in the U-17 World Cup finals. The tagline, "For the moon and the sun to continue shining together—," adds a heavy layer of emotional weight to what is sure to be an epic confrontation.

A Familiar Face Joins the Spanish Team

In a bit of a meta-crossover, the franchise has tapped actor Yu Shirota to voice Romeo Fernandez, a key player on the Spanish national team. If you’re a deep-cut fan, the name might ring a bell—Shirota actually portrayed Kunimitsu Tezuka in the stage musicals back in 2005 and the 2006 live-action film. This marks his big debut as a voice actor for a TV anime, and he sounds ready to bring the heat.

Reflecting on his new role, Shirota shared his excitement, noting that while he's walked the path of Tezuka in the past, he’s now focused on capturing the unique fire of the Spanish squad.
