Exiled Heavy Knight English dub finally gets a premiere date plus a look at the full cast list



Leveling Up: The Exiled Heavy Knight English Dub Hits Crunchyroll Soon

Get ready to watch a "useless" class turn into an absolute powerhouse. If you’ve been waiting to hear Elymas Edvaughn’s story in English, the wait is almost over. Crunchyroll officially announced that the English dub for The Exiled Heavy Knight Knows How to Game the System is dropping on July 16.

If you aren't familiar with the premise, here’s the gist: Elymas is born into a legendary family of swordsmen, but things go south fast when he’s labeled a "Heavy Knight"—the game's most defective class. After being kicked to the curb, he suddenly remembers his past life and realizes he's trapped in a world that operates exactly like a VR game he used to dominate. Since he knows all the hidden mechanics and shortcuts, he’s about to turn the entire power structure upside down.

Meet the English Cast

The dub is being steered by voice director Lee George, and the team they’ve assembled looks solid. Here is who you’ll be hearing in the premiere episode:

Behind the scenes, the adaptation is being handled by Chris Cason, with Zach Bolton producing. It’s an exciting project, especially since the animation is coming out of studio GoHands, led by directors Katsumasa Yokomine and Shingo Suzuki. The series is based on the popular light novels by Nekoko and illustrator Jaian, which have gained quite a following for their satisfying "knowledge is power" brand of storytelling.
