Tite Kubo just dropped three exclusive new designs for the Bleach: Soul Resonance mobile game

Tite Kubo Expands the World of Bleach: Meet the Three New Soul Reapers Joining Mirrors High

If you thought the hype for BLEACH Mirrors High couldn't get any crazier, think again. Just weeks after dropping the initial character reveals, the team behind the mobile game has pulled back the curtain on three more original Soul Reapers—and, of course, they were all designed by the legendary Tite Kubo himself.

Fresh Faces in the Soul Society

The latest additions to the roster are Naru Jurinna (voiced by Fuka Izumi), Giro Hando (voiced by Shogo Batori), and Maiko Tokishima (voiced by Yu Sasahara). Seeing Kubo’s signature sharp, stylish character designs brought to life in a new game is always a treat, and these three look like they’ll fit perfectly into the aftermath of the Thousand-Year Blood War.

Fanboying (and Fangirling) Hard

What’s even better than the new characters? The sheer passion from the voice cast. It’s clear this wasn't just another job for them; it was a full-blown dream come true.

Fuka Izumi, the voice behind Naru Jurinna, admitted that she used to run around as a student shouting out Hado #33: Sokatsui. She was so nervous at her audition that her voice actually cracked, but her determination clearly paid off. Then there’s Shogo Batori (Giro Hando), who couldn't help but show off his internal fanboy. During his audition, he started reciting the incantation for Kurohitsugi—fully expecting to blow his chances. Instead, his commitment to the lore landed him the role.

Maiko Tokishima’s voice actor, Yu Sasahara, shared an even wilder story. She revealed that BLEACH is the entire reason she pursued voice acting. She was so dedicated that she even tried to hide the fact that she had her own replica Zanpakuto, only for the truth to slip out anyway. Talk about manifesting your destiny!

What’s Next for BLEACH?

For those keeping track of the timeline, BLEACH Mirrors High picks up the torch right after the chaos of the Thousand-Year Blood War. While the closed beta testing is currently set for late July, the anime side of things is also moving full steam ahead. With The Conflict already behind us and The Calamity looming on the horizon for July 2026, it is officially a fantastic time to be a BLEACH fan.

Keep your eyes peeled for more gameplay footage as we lead up to the full launch. Personally, I can’t wait to see how these newcomers hold their own against the heavy hitters like Ichigo and the rest of the Captains!
